Spring Recital

The last event of the school year was the girls' spring recital.  We actually hosted this year, which was kind of fun.  The house is to a point that we can have people over.  The girls played well and were happy to finish out their songs that they had practiced.  They have really come so far in all of these many years of piano!

Memorial Day memories

We invited the Sagnimeni family over for Memorial Day.  The kids had a blast together!  They brought kayaks and we got out the paddle boat.  There was lots of water fun!  I grabbed just a few shots to remember!  It was also amazing because Christina and I got to go out on the lake together while Andre watched the kids.  Good times!

Dating

Talmage and Kendall had a date ... kayaking on our lake and back to our house for lunch.  I got went out on the lake in the paddle boat with Sandra, to observe the date :).  They were very cute (and of course I had to take photos).  I'm sure Talmage appreciated the attention ;)

Paddle boating!

I found a paddle boat on Facebook.  After a week or so I hunted down some life jackets.  It was fun to take the boat out on the lake.  Steering the paddle boat was very tricky, but we had fun either way.  Looking forward to many more trips out in our little paddle boat!

Beautiful Bison

Jeff and I went to the TX Bison Association meeting.  It was good to meet local bison ranchers and eat yummy food!  We learned a lot and made a few new Texas friends.  It was so fun to see the Bison at the reserve!  On our way home there were some beautiful clouds!  We even got a shower during the conference. 

  

Strawberry Picking

We met up with some friends to go strawberry picking at the local farm.  It was so fun and they tasted delicious!  We hadn't gone before because it was kind of pricey.  Well, I spent the money and it was fun.  Good things the memories are free :).

Decades

I honestly don't understand how I have lived 4 decades now!  Time seems to slip away.  I love my family and my life.  I am so grateful for these years we have gotten so spend together growing and learning together!  Here's to another 40 more!

So long old friend

We bought Gus in 2010!  It is crazy to think of how long we had him.  We have put a lot of kids, time, and money into him and overall he has been so great to us.  With the addition of Toothless we had tried to sell Gus.  It took us a while to find a buyer, but we finally did.  The turbo even went out on it, but the buyer could fix it so we had a deal.  Gus gave us many good years!  Hopefully he gives his new family many good years too!

Six Flags Homeschool Day!

It's almost as good as Christmas!  Well, at least to do a trip to the amusement park and have tons of kids kind of great day!  It was even better because we spent the day with friends.  Not only that, but friends who have little people, and lots and lots of people.  I'm pretty sure we were our own mass moving through the park.  Everyone had a great day!  Happy fun times at 6 Flags!
