Daddy Fun!

Daddy is so fun to cuddle with, jump on, lay on, etc.  I love watching him have fun with the kids!

Pontoon Fun!

We rented a pontoon boat and made plans to meet up with the Hull family at a local lake.  Unfortunately, their boat starter died that morning so they had to replace that before they could meet up with us.  We still headed out to the lake and went ahead with our boat plans, hoping they would be able to join us soon.  There weren't too many people at the lake, which was really nice.  We took some time jumping off the boat and swimming around.  Everyone had a nice time.  It was fun driving around too.  The pontoon boat was nice.  It was a bummer we weren't allowed to tow a tube with it though.  

The Hull's had the speed boat and so that's what the fun we were missing.  Luckily they found a starter at a local store, got it installed and showed up a few hours late ;).  It was fun to take turns on the speed boat and play well into the afternoon!  Some kids really want to own a boat now ;).

Make Room!

Another cleaning project... garages!  It was time to reclaim the 3 garages!  We loaded up the trailer with the junk we had been storing and rearranged the other 2 garages to make room for another vehicle.  At this point we can get all 3 vehicles into the garages!  Exciting times :)

I love where we live and the beautiful sunsets we get to enjoy!  Sometimes I just have to capture a photo, or two :).  So amazing!

Sunday Afternoon

Sometimes it's nice to remember how we spend an ordinary day... like Sunday afternoon.  It was fun to see who was doing what.  Lots of electronics and books ;)

Oh, and let's not ignore the kids under the chairs.  Silly kids!  There's always something going on... even when nothing is going on!

We even had time for some hair fun!  Sandra did Lorna's hair.

Penelope

We tried to limp Rudy along as long as we could after Talmage's accident back in March.  Well, he keeps overheating.  Time to say good-bye to Rudy and bring in a new family member... I mean, vehicle ;).  We found a decent deal on a 2007 F-150 that can be our teen car and help out with Grant's lawn mowing business.

DONUTS!

We sure love living close to a Krispy Kreme!  They were doing a promotion, so I took the little ones over to grab a donut!  It was fun to see them enjoy their treat... and some even ate them so fast that I couldn't even grab a photo :).  

More Clean up!

While we are on summer break the house projects continue.  We took out the bushes on the back side of the driveway.  Then we had to clean up all of the remnants.  Mhari even got to use the new leaf blower!  It is nice to have it cleaned out.  Now we need to get rid of the stumps.  

We also got some plants for the backyard.  We filled in the fountain so we could put a climbing plant against the rock and let it spread.  We will see how it works. 

We also added more flowers and sweet potato vines.  Here's hoping the plants fill in nicely.
