Comfy

Seminary is always so exhausting for the kids.  I love catching the teens when they nap!  This time it was just after scripture time for Grant. 

Sandra also finished her first hat from her crochet class.  It turned out so good and looks really comfy!

 

Co-op Fun

The swimming creatures class got to pretend to be sea turtles.  Lorna and Clark were so cute!  Oh, and Mhari is in my writing class :)

 

Dramatic

I think having teenagers is awesome... and exhausting :)!  Sandra gets emotional during school and I just have to document it!  So dramatic!

In other news I finally got a photo of Lorna playing the piano!  Yay for piano teachers!

Sunday Fun Day!

More hair fun... with Sandra!  It's tricky to do things with thin hair, but I'm glad we are finding fun things to do!  Grant and Clark are so cute together!  Grant is such a fun big brother!

 

Create!

Clark and Lorna had fun making dragons in their art class.  I'm glad they are getting to create such fun things!  Sandra is still learning to make fun things in the kitchen... and made delicious garlic knots! 

 

Good Hair Day

The girls are in a fun stage.  They are letting me play with their hair... and style it!

Oh, and Jeff got new glasses.  They look great!  Trying to stay hip, even if he thinks they look like Robin "boy wonder" from Batman :).

Pool Lady

Every time I think I have our pool figured out something else breaks.  Like, seriously this is getting annoying.   This time a screw popped out and water was just spurting out.  It's like how many more possible ways can my pool pump equipment break?  Maybe I shouldn't ask!  

I'm grateful to have a pool guy who will come out and fix these things, but man, pools are high maintenance!  Who knew I would one day be a pool lady ;)

 

Accomplished

We love the freedom of homeschool!  The kids get to participate in such fun things!  This year Sandra is in an advanced crochet class and will be really working on those skills.  Clark and Lorna have started piano and are loving it!  They are also both in the Swimming Creatures class and are making a diorama of animals they learn about throughout the year.  This will be a fun year of learning and accomplishing great things!  

Homeschool it's the goodest :)!

Baking Skills

Talmage decided he wanted to learn how to bake a cake.  I happen to keep cake mixes in stock so he was able to work on his goal.  It was fun to watch him make it and even make the frosting too!  I think the next step of learning would be to make a cake from scratch (no box).  I still need to work up to that goal though ;).

 

Water Bed and Trough

We finished making the outline for the bed for the water storage tanks.  Now we need to add the gravel base before we get the water tanks.  

We also finished setting our second water trough for the bison.  We are getting closer to getting our animals!!

 

Cuddly

Clark is so cute!  I love finding him cuddling up!

On a not cute or cuddly note I found a mole in the pool today :(.  Gross.
