Elder Williams

The time has arrived!  Talmage was set apart as a missionary!  President Rhodus spent some time talking with Talmage before he did the setting apart.  The setting apart was nice.  Kind of crazy that we have an Elder in the house!  Online MTC starts tomorrow!  

 

Halloween Fun

Sandra helped Lorna cut our pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern.  It was Lorna's first time (that she remembers).  Grant took the kids to the ward Trunk or Treat.  Sandra, Mhari and Grant helped run the games with the youth.  Talmage ended up with a date with Daisy and her dad.  Jeff and I were in Bryan, TX at the TBA conference.  It was a very busy, but good day!  I'm so thankful our kids are responsible and helpful! It was nice to spend the day at the conference with Jeff!

 

Dress up Day

Co-op often has fun dress up days!  This year for book character day (aka Halloween) Sandra dressed up as a scarecrow!  She was so cute!  Our time with friends is going by so fast!  

 

Phoenix Baptisms

After the park, we headed to the Phoenix Temple to do baptisms.  Christa's kids even joined us so we could get more names done for the grandparents.  It was a beautiful sunset!  Christa invited us out to ice cream afterwards.  The kids had so much fun with their cousins!  I'm so glad we got to spend some time together!

 

Park Fun

Saturday, we did an endowment session at the Phoenix Temple.  Afterwards, I met up with Christa and some of her kids at the park.  The kids played racquetball, soccer, and frisbee.  It was nice to chat with Christa and catch up on life.  Talmage ended up riding with Uncle Mike to go pick up Tavin, so they had some time to chat too.  

 

Johnny Rockets!

Jeff used to work at Johnny Rockets when he was a teenager.  It was in Arrowhead Mall.  That one is no longer there, but there is a new one!  We went out to eat with Jeff's parents.  The food was good!  Too bad they don't have a juke box anymore and the employees don't sing :(.  

The trip is going by fast, but there's still time to hang out at the grandparents' house! Oh, and Grant finally passed Jeff in height :)

 

Photo Time

While at the temple we decided to take updated kid and family photos.  It was pretty hot and bright outside, but we made it work.  I love taking photos of my kids, so this is really a highlight for me :).  Of course, I added in a few of the silly ones just for fun!  This will be the last family photo with everyone until the boys return from their missions!
