Clear!

The Elders came and helped clear saplings around our pond.  It was some hard work, and I was sure glad they came to help!  I used the chainsaw and Sawzall to help cut through the stumps.  Elder Oliver and Elder Rich were great helpers!  Then I used the box blade to clear out more weeded areas.  Everything looks so much better when it's cleared!

 

Frozen Valentine

 

Jeff and I went out for Valentine's Day.  It was nice to be out!  Braums is always delicious!  Of course, we had to finish with ice cream cones!  Happy Valentine's Day Hunny!  Luvu

Fort Fun

When you are big, but still love making blanket forts with your sister!  They took over the living room!  I'm glad they love each other and love having fun!  Little kids just don't stay little for very long!

 

Just when you thought you had it all figured out...

Remember how everything was pretty minimal damage from the ice storm?  Well, I found an extra surprise today.  The faucet by the 5000 gallon tanks had frozen and burst and leaked out a whole tank!  Such a bummer!  Luckily, I found a replacement spicket and got it all fixed up.  Hopefully we don't have any more surprises!

 

Frozen

The first huge ice storm of the year hit!  We tried to insulate and secure everything, so we ended up with minimal damage.  The tank on the trailer that we use to water the yearlings valve froze and we lost all of that water.  A few trees lost branches, but overall, the damage was pretty minimal.  The ice was beautiful and sure made some great photos!
