Playoffs!

The boys soccer team haven't lost a game all season!  If they lost this game they would go to the loser bracket.  It was a close game, but they pulled it out in the shoot out at the end.  Talmage got to play defense some and he really did well.  It was fun to see him be more aggressive.  Grant got to shoot one of the goals at the end, but it wasn't fast enough to get around their goalie.  Next step, championship game!

While the boys were gone to soccer practice the younger kids and I fed the ducks and enjoyed the sunset.  It was fun to take a few pictures of the kids.  They are just too cute!

Fright Fest

Jeff and I went to Fright Fest at 6 Flags with Nathan and Tiffany.  It was fun last year and we still had passes to go again his year.  This time we did a blackout haunted house.  I think it was better than the zombie one from last year.  There seemed to be a lot of people dressed up so that was cool too.  The fog was pretty thick that it made it hard to walk along some of the paths.  I guess that makes everything seem more scary!

Go Team Sharks!

Talmage and Grant played soccer this fall on their same team from spring, the Sharks.  This time their team has been playing very well!  They are a good asset to the team, but they did get a few new players and I think that has made the most difference this season.

National Night Rained Out

I took the younger kids over to the park for National Night Out.  There was food, games, and bounce houses!  There was also a huge storm that rolled in or else we would have had more sack races and other fun games, like last year.  The kids played for a little bit and got some cool free stuff.  Then we ended up stuck in the fire truck garage trying to stay dry while the storm passed.  We ended up walking home in the rain since the storm wasn't stopping anytime soon.  It was a memorable night ;)

Conference Bonding

During General Conference the kids hung out and the little ones colored while we listened.  It was fun to watch Lorna.  She couldn't color without sticking her tongue out :)

It's always great to have the weekend to hear the words of the prophet, and bond as a family :)
