Take the Plunge!

We love swimming season!  It makes owning a pool during the winter worth it ;).  I love watching the kids swim, even if it was a bit cold still.

We had a "friend" that snuck into the house tonight. He really camouflaged well too!  It's a good thing that Grant was there to save the day and let him back outside!

Good-bye Stage

Time to take down the stage at the pavilion.  Joe and his family came in the morning and worked on the small house.  By the time they left it was well on it's way to being completely demoed!  We made some good headway on the stage too.  It's amazing how strong it sill was after all of this time!  It was a good day of hard work!

Party Time

After Lorna's baptism we went right into her swimming birthday party ... so everyone could get wet :).  After swimming and fun Lorna opened her presents and we did cake and ice cream.  Talmage got the chicks out to show off too.  Everyone had a fun time!  

The littlest 8 year old!

Lorna chose to be baptized a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  She really wanted to get baptized on her birthday.  My brother Joe, and his family came out for the event.  Nathan, Tiffany and kids, and Michelle all came too.  It was a nice little family event.  All the family got to help.  I conducted the music, Clark and Talmage was a witness, Sandra gave a talk, Mhari and Grant prayed.  Jeff got to baptize and confirm Lorna.  We were allowed to do the baptism in our pool so that was really cool too.  We zoomed the service for grandparents.  It was a wonderful day!
