BINGO!

A few weeks ago we had family in town for Owen's baptism.  It was great to spend time together :).  Grandma bought BINGO for the kids to play.  She got to be the number caller and they all had fun using M&M's to mark their cards.  We went for blackout... called all of the numbers and everyone had a nice full card of M&M's to eat :).

Soccer and the Trees!

Jeff was invited to go play soccer golf with some of his soccer buddies.  There is a new course open in the area and they had fun testing it out.  Jeff really had a fun time and wants to take the boys to play sometime!

Birdie!

During the game Jeff and 2 of the other players got their balls stuck in the trees.  They were retrieved, but this isn't as common with golf balls I'm sure :).

Jeff's ball :)

The last tree story is about the kids.  They love to climb our trees!  One of their favorite trees is the willow that is between ours and our neighbor house.  One day as Jeff was heading out for work he took this picture.  Can you spot the child in the tree?

Mhari is at the top of the tree along the trunk!  It is crazy to see how high up she is!  I have even had a neighbor send me a message about my kids up in the trees... just to be sure I knew they were up there!
I'm glad they love trees ... I'm also really glad they haven't fallen (yet)!

Our 3rd Beautiful Girl!

We finished our family with our 3rd daughter!  Lorna is a strong little thing who thinks she just belongs with everyone, which she does ;).  She has no idea she is only 2 ;).  She speaks as well as Clark (well, pretty close anyway) and has to be doing what everyone else is doing.

True to tradition of being a baby she really loves her Mommy and Daddy :).  I don't mind since I plan on her being my baby forever!  She also loves all of her siblings and cousins and anyone else she gets to know.  Because she's so strong willed she wants to be in charge, but deals with it when she's not.  She's a little young to do the kid interview with so I will do that in the future, when she's older.

We just love our Love Bug!

Here are her pictures:

Love!

Too funny!

Adorable!

Pretty girl

Beautiful!  Probably going on the wall!

It seems like just last month she was tiny and learning how to walk and talk.  Now she's on fast forward just doing too much and being so big!  She is such a fun, silly, awesome girl!
We love you BUG!!!

3rd Handsome!

Our first surprise after we thought we were "done" was our third boy, Clark!  He has been such a sweet addition to our family!  He is easy going and laid back.  He is also super tall for his age, which personally I love ;).  It's kind of cool to get a really tall kid (even though they are all tall).

He is also such a good big brother.  He LOVES Lorna!  Now that Lorna is getting older and more strong willed they fight more than they used to, but seriously those two are great friends!

Clark is just a little sweetheart!  He loves his siblings, parents, cousins, friends... well, he loves people!  With how awesome Clark is he has some trouble speaking.  He does well trying to express himself, but we have him being evaluated for some speech help.  I anticipate that we will be starting speech at the local elementary school in the fall.  It will be a good step to help figure out what is going on and help him as he continues to learn and grow!

I helped him with his interview so here it is ;)

Best friends!

Our little Clark is 4 and will be in Kindergarten next year.  Seriously where has the time gone?  He was my little tiny baby born a month early and now he's 4!  He is adorable and growing up so much!

We love you Big Dog!

2nd Beautiful Girl!

Mhari was planned to be our last child... which would make her our baby.  Well, we didn't stop there, she's not the baby, and she's a very strong child.  She could have been the oldest for how strong willed and smart she can be.  The problem is that she's not the oldest child.  She tends to end up conflicting with the older kids because of this, but at the same time wants to be doing what they are doing.  She's learning some good life lessons and will be hanging out with the older kids at their level before she realizes it... even if it seems to not be soon enough.

After taking photos of Mhari it was so evident how much she has grown up over the last year!  She is right at that age of turning from a little girl to a big girl and it actually makes me cry.  She has grown up so much over the last year!

Mhari will be in 1st grade.  She has been working on her reading this summer and really gotten so much better.  She loves to learn and should have a great time in 1st grade :).  I can't believe how much she's grown up.  She is such a cute girl and has such a strong will!  She will accomplish anything she sets her mind to!
We love you Punkin!

Beautiful Girl 1

One of my favorite things about my kids is that we started with 2 boys and then went to 2 girls.  It was fun to really do the boy thing and enjoy two cute boys and then add in some girls and get a good mix of gender going on.  By starting with the boys Sandra is not a typical girly girl.  She loves to hang out with the boys and do cool stuff like dinosaurs, exploring, camping, learning about rocks and minerals, and learning about cars.  She did Kung Fu and volleyball over the summer and liked Kung Fu the best.  She loves her daddy and watching sports with him!  She also loves long hair, long finger nails, sewing, cooking etc.... sometimes it gets confusing, but I love that she can do boy stuff and girly stuff :).

She is also a very loving child.  She is sweet and kind and thoughtful and gets along so well in her classes and with her friends.

Growing up!

I love that he and Talmage are such friends.  During his interview he asked if a sibling could count as a friend and he included Talmage.  Even though Talmage and Grant are quite different they really do love each other.  Grant has gained a love of reading by watching Talmage's example.  They really enjoy sharing similar interests also, such as animals, rocks and minerals, dinosaurs, fossils, living in the wild, etc. :).

I have gotten to work with Grant in Webelos and have loved seeing him enjoy cubs and how he interacts with his friends.  He will be in 5th grade this year :).  I keep waiting for him to hit a good growth spurt and pass up Talmage.  People still mistake them for twins.  It's hard to blame them when they look similar and are only 14 months apart :).

We love our Grant!
