Last Game

The soccer season is coming to a close.  This was Jeff's last game of the season.  Since the boys parents were in town it was fun to see them cheer on Jeff and Nathan.  It turned into a pretty eventful night with one of our players, Shadi, getting injured.  He ended up with lots of stitches.  Overall it was a great game and the ref did a great job controlling the game.  I think the hardest part has been the lack of control from the refs.  It was a good night to end the season on!

It's hard to get good soccer pictures... either they are blurry, or they are just standing around... or both :)

The awesome ref!

Open House Fun!

This year for our Co-op Open House Grandma and Grandpa were in town.  They got to see all of the fun things the kids have been doing this semester.... like art work, photography, science projects and even this fun song from Lorna's class.  We really do love our co-op and our friends there.  Everyone has a great time and the kids get to do more than I would on my own!

This is Lorna and her pre-k class doing the months of the year to the tune of the macarena.  So funny!

Sunset!

We really love where our house is.  The sunsets are amazing and the small lake makes them even more incredible.  Here is just another fun sunset from our house to yours ;)

Happy Easter!

For Easter Sunday we had family over and enjoyed a nice dinner.  I also made resurrection rolls... our Easter tradition.  I love that the kids help make them and enjoy remembering that Jesus was buried in the tomb and was risen on the 3rd day.... the tomb was empty!

For FHE the next night we did an Easter Egg Hunt.  The little kids had been begging me to do one so I found some eggs and candy on clearance for the hunt.  I had the older 3 kids hide the eggs and then the younger 3 find the eggs.  Everyone got candy at the end.  It was fun to see the older kids get creative hiding the eggs!  The younger kids loved finding the eggs!  It was nice to not have to be in charge of the activity too :)

One of the best hiding spots!  None of the kids found them until the older kids helped hint around them.

Yay for Family and Easter fun!  We are so grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ and for his atonement and resurrection!

Love Bug Snuggles

Jeff just loves his little Bug.  She was acting really tired and so Jeff held her until she fell asleep.  He was able to sneak a little nap in for himself too.  They are so adorable!  Love them!

Shoot! Date night!

We went on a double date with Nathan and Tiffany to the shooting range.  It was fun to get the guns out and cleaned and then shoot them again.  It was also fun for Jeff to get to let Nathan shoot his gun and get a chance to check it out too.  This is how you go on dates in Texas ;)

Practice, practice, practice!

My life has become an endless sea of practices!  Friday nights are the busiest with the boys, Mhari, and Clark's team all having practices.  The boys team is done now so it's just Clark and Mhari.  Clark is loving soccer and does really well.  He was practicing being the goalie this night.  He also does really great with penalty kicks.  It's crazy how much soccer has over taken life right now, but it will be over soon enough :)

Clark ready to get the ball.

 Got it!
