Merry Christmas Eve

We got together to celebrate Christmas with Jeff's siblings and family on Christmas Eve.  We had a few fire pits outside and even did smore's.   It was a nice evening, and even a bit chilly.  It was fun to exchange gifts too.

Holiday in the Park

We hit 6 Flags for the last time this year for Holiday in the Park.  Our passes expire, but it's been fun while it lasted :).  Talmage was working, but the rest of us had fun!

The older kids ran off to get as many rides in as possible (there were no lines) while I hung out with Lorna and Clark.  We did the snow hill, and as many little rides as we could.  It was a fun chilly day!

14 Year old Chica

Sandra has made it to 14... seriously sometimes it's hard to remember that she wasn't already 14!  She's pretty mature and usually hangs out with older kids.  She is smart and sweet and pretty helpful.  She is full on a teenager and most of the times that's a good thing ;).  We celebrated her birthday the Monday after, since the choir concert was on her birthday.  We invited family over for dessert after she opened her presents ;).

Christmas Choir Concert

This was Sandra's second year to participate in the Stake Choir Christmas performance.  I decided I would join her and sing too.  I was an alto, along with Ella, and Sandra was a soprano.  The music was beautiful and we enjoyed getting to sing and feel the spirit of the music!  There was a pretty large orchestra this year too and several soloists.  It was fun to do this with Sandra ;)

Silly Chica

I love it when we learn something knew about one of the kids. Grant started this conversation about what our lips look like when we drink from a cup.  Grant showed us what his lips looked like, so then everyone had to try.  We all drink pretty normally... accept Sandra.  She makes a funny full lip face :).  She was laughing so hard!  I love that she thought that was normal... like she's normal!  She is amazing and awesome, but not normal ;).  Here are some pictures from the dinner conversation.
