Mother's Day

I had a really nice Mother's Day.  The kids cleaned the house (mainly Talmage from Saturday when we were all gone to the ranch).  The kids played games with me and Sandra made me yummy food.  It was a nice day enjoyed with my kids!

Road Kill

While driving out to the ranch we found a friend.  We smashed into that crow... it was just too slow to fly away from the road kill it had been enjoying with his friends.  We got a lot of funny looks from other drivers as we arrived in town!

When we stopped for the restroom we peeled him off the grill.  RIP crow.

Senior Photos

This has been a strange year, and life isn't normal.  Unfortunately we didn't get to celebrate Grant at our co-op open house for his graduation.  He did do a fun photo shoot for me though.  He's growing up too fast!

 

Babies

A little gray gnat catcher laid it's eggs in our outside trash can.  We found them on April 17th.  There were 6 tiny eggs!  A few days later they hatched (not very cute ... being featherless and all).  We would check in on them every few days.  By the end of the time together Lorna peeked in and one of the chicks fell out.  We were able to get the baby back into the nest, but they were ready to fly shortly after.  It was fun to share this with the kids!

Doctor Time

Talmage has been going to the dermatologist to deal with his acne.  We are on a 6 month treatment program that should solve his issues.  The most annoying part is that now we have to wear masks to the appointments.  Welcome to the new world... mask ordinance and all.

 

Daddy Time

Take the Plunge!

We love swimming season!  It makes owning a pool during the winter worth it ;).  I love watching the kids swim, even if it was a bit cold still.
