Let's Eat

We tried out our bison short ribs.  I think they turned out pretty good.  The ribs are not equal thickness, so the thin ones were great, but the thick ones were not as done.  It was a great experience, but ribs aren't our favorite meat.  It's always great to learn to cook up the different bison cuts!

Our little Baker

Lorna is really enjoying learning to bake.  On the weeks she doesn't have an activity she chooses a recipe to try.  It doesn't happen every time, but it's fun to spend time baking together.  This time it was doughnuts.  Yum!

Conference Toes

There are lots of different traditions for General Conference, but one of our unique ones is painting our toenails.  Not only do the girls do their toes, but they also paint Dad's toes... and Clark's!  It's been several years of keeping this tradition and I don't see it stopping anytime soon.  Jeff ended up with his big toes done and Clark had 3 or 4 different colors by the end of it.  Silly kids!

Falling Down

Our poor garage building is falling down!  Looks like we need a demo day!  We need to get this all cleaned up for a house build!

Baptisms!

I was able to go to the temple and do baptisms.  It was great to go with our ward Relief Society!  I was glad we had so many ladies make it out.  The temple is a place of peace and joy!  It was great to share that with these ladies!

Trouble

Monday the 11th when we went to check on the ranch, we found 2 bison out of their pasture and in pasture 6.  Bartok and one of the ladies broke out! We have some fence work to do now. Then on Friday the water float valve broke.  We had to shut that trough off and get the one going in pasture 5 again.  You never know what trouble will be waiting at the ranch!

1st Day of School

Sandra had her first day of in-person college!  I asked her to send me a photo, so she did ;).  I'm sure she's going to have a great semester!  I also asked for photos of her apartment.  She is at the Sunrise Village apartments #25.
