Reception Fun!

The Link family's daughter, Brynna, got married!  It was fun to go and support her and the Link family.  We enjoyed a nice meal and then the reception turned to dancing!  It was fun to dance with Jeff.  I will say it was great to see Jeff dance with his girls and Clark learn how to dance.  Such a fun night!  

Trunk or Treat!

For Halloween this year the kids decided to be baby buffalo.  It was kind of tricky to figure out how to accomplish their wish, but I think we lucked out!  We found a brown furry jacket at the store.  Then the devil horn kit gave us enough stuff to create the horns and ears... and even a tail.  The crowing jewel of the costume was when Jeff suggested adding ear tags!  They turned out so cute!  We love our little bison!

Not to be left out, Sandra celebrated Halloween in Idaho.  She was her traditional scarecrow!  Too cute!

 

Strike!

We have been getting together with Matt and Melanie Kindle for date nights.  It's been great!  We've done a family dinner at their home.  Then we went out to dinner.  This time we met up for bowling.  It was tricky to have a conversation and bowl, but we had a great time.  It's always nice to make friends... especially as we get older :)

 

Time to Make Some Money

As we come up on our home build at the ranch, we need some funding.  Looks like we are going to sell some of the herd to make some money!  Hopefully we get them sold, for good prices!  That also means less hay we have to feed and buy!  This smaller herd will help as we take time to improve our pastures this upcoming year as well!

 

Happy 21st

It's crazy to think that 21 years ago I became a mother, and this amazing man was born!  Happy birthday to our oldest!  We love you Talmage!  We love all the great things you are doing on your mission!  We miss you but are grateful for all you have been accomplishing!  Love you!

 

Mowing day!

Jeff did a mowing day!  He focused around the lake.  There was some pine saplings forests that got cut down!  There is always so much mowing to do!

 

Camp Tyler

Our homeschool friends arranged a day to go to Camp Tyler.  They had a pumpkin patch and lots of other fun things!  The kids loved all the farm animals, goats, pigs, chickens, cows, and rabbits.  There was a train ride that took us to the lake too.  The dock was really cool!  This would be an awesome place to visit in the summer!  We all had a great time!!
