I just love the beautiful Sunsets we get at our little lake.  It feels magical :)

Ceiling Fun!

It is so exciting to get to progress with the house projects.  We are on the home stretch of getting closer to finishings!  We had the ceiling all prepped and ready to go to spray the texture on the ceiling!  It is a good thing we have kids to be our work team!  Sandra worked to prep the mixture while the boys helped arrange things for Daddy to keep spraying.  They each got a turn to help spray too!  It was an exciting productive day!

Cuddle Bug

 Lorna didn't sleep well because there was a big storm that woke her up.  She came down because she was scared.  Our floor isn't set up to sleep on so I let her crawl into the bed.  That ended my rest for the night.  It was so cute to see Lorna cuddled up with her Daddy in the morning!  Love them!

Freedom!!!

The day has arrived, after all of the teasing with multiple Dr. appointments, for the boot to come off!  Talmage was so happy to reach FREEDOM!  By the end of his time with the boot he wasn't even using his crutches ... just dragging them along :).  

Let's just say it was entertaining to see him "walking."

Here are the before and after pictures!  His bone has formed a nice callous around his break.  There is still a little line to heal, but the Dr. wasn't worried about it since it's encased so well.

It was fun to see Talmage walk out of the office!  

Our first stop on the way home was Sam's club to buy new shoes, since he had worn out the right show of his old pair!

It was crazy to see how red his leg was by the end of the day.  I'm sure his leg wasn't used to so much free blood circulation!

Olympic Bonding

We were hanging out at Nathan and Tiffany's house visiting, and the boys started watching curling.  It was funny to see both Daddys sitting with their girls... enjoying some good old curling.  I love that they love each other so much!

Happy Valentines!

The kids love getting packages from Grandma Whitmer for holidays!  We opened the Valentine box and everyone loved getting their candy and stuffed animals!  Lorna made Valentine cards to pass out at Co-op and I made some cheesecake filled strawberries drizzled with chocolate :).  It was a yummy day!

Making Blankets!

Talmage was in charge of our 4-H Blanket making activity.  He was able to help pick out blanket material and teach the kids how to make Fleece Tie Blankets.  Everyone worked well together and we ended up with some beautiful blankets to donate to those in need.  

  

  

    

I can see clearly now!

Our cute Chica had been complaining about not being able to see.  I am not the greatest at scheduling appointments and it hadn't been that long, right?!  Well, I got her in and her eyes had changed... a lot :(.  Poor girl.  I'm happy she can finally see again, even if she would rather have contacts.  

Birthday Fun!

I took Tiffany out for her birthday!  I had fun updating our headband ... got some fun comments and Happy Birthday wishes while we were out too ;).

High Fliers!

We had a Co-op field trip to Flight Deck!  It was the first time all of my kids (minus broken leg Talmage) have gotten to all go play at a trampoline park.  We had a great turn out and luckily no serious injuries!  Yay for friends and fun!

Joanns fun!

Our 4-H club helped with with our Texas Joanns Valentine Card making event.  It was good to put in some service!  The kids also had time to go and search for things for their storyboards.  At the end we went on a field trip around the store.  Malinda took the kids around and showed them different fabrics, how to find patterns, notions, etc.  Everyone had a good time, but it was a long day!
