Time to say good-bye to the baby blue living room. We had decided to go bold with a purple. After several samples we found our match! It is a striking difference to the light blue! Two of the walls are a grey neutral while the purple is on the walls with the windows. The half purple that I'm painting will be white on the bottom with some wainscoting to add some detail. The back wall with the hutch will also have the white bottom with the wainscoting... unless we end up putting cabinets along that wall. The house is starting to feel more like home!
I still need to paint out the windows with white.
We know it's a pretty bold color, but we love it! We still have plenty of things to change, but we are moving in the right direction now.
