After Talmage had been in a cast for a week we went back to follow up with the Dr. Things are pretty stable, but unfortunately the bone was starting to bow. It was still in a normal range, but something to be sure didn't get worse. Well, instead of just watching the progress for the next week they decided to re-cast his leg to try to correct the bow now. After just having a cast for a week Talmage's leg was still really tender. He was happy when they were finally done and his leg was stable again. Poor guy, as if having a cast in the first place wasn't hard enough.
Good-bye signatures!
All fresh with his new orange cast!
Before and after pictures of the bone bowing and the correcting.
Talmage having a fun time... making up a new game, crutch golf!
