Arlington Skatium hosts Homeschool Skate days the first Friday of the month. We set it up as a homeschool field trip for our co-op. We ended up with a few families. I'm sure people were busy with the holidays and such. This was the first time that Clark and Lorna have roller skated. It was fun to watch them learn.
I knew it would be hard... and it was. They both got really discouraged. After a while of being sad they went back to work practicing and by the time we went home they both wanted to go back the next day! I know it will be a while before they are good at skating, but at least they are willing to try new, hard things!
The skating trainers were really helpful, even if Clark was too big for it.
