Church was shortened to 1 hour for the "holiday." We thought that was kind of funny, since the holiday probably didn't really start until Monday. After Sacrament Meeting the young women were gathering and taking photos. A little bit later a mom mentioned that she wanted a photo of some young men and young women together. I did thing it was odd that the girls are always the ones taking group photos! It was nice to get a good gathering of some of our youth... the Christensen, Buer, and Williams families!
After church Jonathan, Michelle, Nathan, Tiffany and their kids all came over for to exchange presents and have dinner. I also had the kids help decorate sugar cookies. It was fun to see some of their crazy designs! This is another tradition that I don't tend to do. It seems like we have done a lot of little things leading up to Christmas this year! I'm glad the kids are getting to have these memories!
