Babies and Chickens

We are just getting more and more babies!  They are so fun!  The new ones are so little and the mommies are very protective!  Oh, and since we have a lot of bugs at the ranch Talmage's chickens came for a visit.  Jeff's parents are in town and we have been working on the fence still for pasture 7.  It's coming along.  It is sure getting hot outside though!

Another Year Gone

It's yearbook time again!  Sandra ordered her yearbook!  It turned out so good this year!  I feel like the kids did a better job working on their pages and the theme worked really well throughout it.  It was fun to be the teacher over the yearbook for a couple of years.  I love seeing a beautiful yearbook at the end of another school year!

Chipmunk!

Talmage had his wisdom teeth removed as he gets his mission paperwork completed.  They were pretty impacted, and he ended up with a chipmunk face. His pain wasn't too bad, and he didn't react too strange to any of the medications for sedation so that was good.  He was most frustrated about not being able to eat solid food.  After a couple of days, he figured out how to eat scrambled eggs. At least we got all four out at once... all done!

He did get some fun time bonding with Daddy for naps, and even Grandpa :)

Pillow Fun!

Clark decided he needed a hand sewing project!  He went through our material and settled on something fun for a small pillow.  Well, of course Lorna wanted to join in so both of our little's are learning about hand sewing.  They are doing a great job!  I'm excited for them to finish up their cute pillows!

Permitted

Sandra has been not very patiently waiting to get her driver's permit.  The day finally came, and she is so happy to learn to drive!  It's so hard to wait for your older brother to get his license before you can get your permit.  I must say that having only one child at a time learning to drive is enough.  Time for me to start all over!  Maybe that is why my hair is getting so gray :).

I'm excited to see her learn and accomplish all of her goals!  Way to go Chica!

Graduate!

Grant graduated from Seminary!  He completed 4 books of scripture during four years of early morning (5:45 am) classes.  He loved his teacher, Brother Bailey!  It was a great evening!  Congratulations Grant!

So Many Babies

It is so awesome to have so many buffalo babies (a.k.a. red dogs).  They are adorable!!  The stay close to their moms so sometimes it's hard to get a good look at them.  Sorry, but this is the baby overload post!  We just love our little babies.  Oh, and there's one photo of the piglets since they are still small but growing fast!

Mom's Fun!

I hosted a Mom's Night Out painting party for the Homeschool Moms in our co-op.  It was so fun!  We had a pretty good turn out and it was fun to paint together!  These ladies are so fun!  I wish I had photos of all of us!

Friends and Volleyball

We have been making an effort to get together with the Hull family every month!  It helps that Grant and Savanah are boyfriend and girlfriend.  It also helps that Amanda is one of my favorite people!  We are so busy enjoying each other that we never take enough photos!  Often, we have them over to swim or we go play on their land.  This week they came over to swim and it was fun to measure Savanah and Grant's feet.  They are the same size!  Big feet!

We have also been allowed back into the church to play volleyball.  It was frustrating to be away from volleyball for so long!  We go with Tiffany and the cousins.  We love volleyball!  Clark and Lorna are getting better at serving too!  It's so fun to share something I love with my kids!

Birthday Fun

After the fun trip to Alabama Tiffany and I got together to do my birthday celebration!  We went out for pedicures!  It was fabulous!  I always enjoy getting a good pedicure.  Somehow, I didn't end up with a photo of us together :(

Quick Trip

Joe and Amanda's daughter, Lorali, got baptized and we decided to go out for it.  They are just 10 hours away!  It's funny how close that sounds since living in Texas we are at least 15 1/2 hours away from family.  Jeff, Grant, and Sandra stayed home to work.  The kids traveled well.  Talmage was able to spend some time with Uncle Joe so that was good.  The Saturday I got there Joe and Amanda took me out for my birthday to downtown Mobile.  It was so good!  It was fun to go out and even better that my mom was in town with us too!
Sunday was the baptism which they held right after church.  It was a nice little service and everything went well.  It was fun to be there to support Lorali.  The next day we started the trip home.  We planned to stop in New Orleans for a few hours since Joe was taking mom to the airport there.  We walked the main street and had a great time.  It was a nice little visit... especially after the rain stopped :).  It was a quick trip, but I'm glad we got to go.
