3 weeks young

Our Little Lorna is still so little, but she's growing!  These are some pictures from last week when she was 3 weeks young, or old, or whatever ;)

I got the baby swing out for her and she really likes it!

Love her!
It's going by fast.  I'm looking forward to moving on to sleeping better and getting on a schedule, but I really love my little Lorna - so cute!

Hrosey Ride

Sandra had a birthday party a couple of weeks ago.  We got the invitation a month in advance and had been planning on going... especially since it was at the stables... and she was going to get to ride a horse ;).  This is also a good friend from school that Sandra really likes and so it was even better.

Here is Sandra getting on the horse.

Going for a ride.

There was also a bounce house... but Sandra rode the horses a lot!!!  It was a fun party and the horses were really cool!

Baby Biggness

Clark is getting so big!  Having a new little one always makes the youngest child look so much older so fast! He is also doing some fun things :)

The other day he found one of Jeff's Automotive News magazines and started looking through it.  I thought he was super cute, then I heard him say "car" - well, now how do I not take a picture of that :).  He really does love cars!

He has also gotten good at holding on for horsey rides.  Here he is with Jeff...  So cute!

Jeff was "running" toward me... Clark is hanging on good :)

We love our baby biggness - as Jeff now calls him, among other fun nicknames ;)

Loving Lorna

Every time a new baby joins our family there is always the question of how the previous "baby" will like the new baby.  Well, I can say that our kids really love the new baby!  This has never been an issue and really it makes me smile to see how much all of the older kids love the baby!  Lorna is no exception... just look at how much love she gets :)

2 Weeks Old

Time is flying by.  I feel like Lorna just joined our family and yet we are closing in on a month.  I figured I would update her pictures ;).

Here she is sleeping peacefully on the couch - a favorite baby sleeping place in our family.  I love how peaceful she is - 5-14-12

I did a mini photo shoot for the two week mark - 5-15-12

Besides having to eat all of the time, and waking up plenty to keep eating our little Lorna is a great baby.  Sometimes she thinks she is starving and has to eat every hour - definitely not fun times, but then she sleeps for a bit and gets back to normal schedule.  The kids still love her too :)

One Week Old

Our little Lorna is so cute and tiny!  I decided to try to take some cute pictures before she gets too big :).  My sweet friend Amanda made the headbands so that made it more fun!

Just beautiful!

I'm sure I'll have more pictures soon enough... they grow and change so fast!

Sponge Bath

Time for her first bath.. well, sponge bath anyway!  Lorna was so cute... and unaware of the upcoming fun!

Starting with her head

Getting the body... and Lorna decided that sponge baths are overrated ;)

All cleaned and in her pjs.  Too cute!

Clark needed a turn to hold her.  He loves her so much!

Close up!

Lorna was also positive cooms, which really means that she's going to have higher levels of jaundice. This is before her photo therapy treatment... if you didn't notice, she is pretty orange here ;)

New Arrival!

Our little baby joined our family on May 1st.  I was induced at 39 weeks and we were all very ready for her to come.  My mom came to help out and was there with the kids so we didn't have to worry about them while we went to the hospital.  We arrived just after 5 am for our appointment and started getting hooked up.  My Dr. came and broke my water at about 9:30 (I was dialated to a 4 by then) and the countdown began.  I was really hoping that I would be done an hour later... but that wasn't the case.  My disappointment during the labor was that the epidural worked really great on my legs, but not so much on my contractions.  Oh well... could have been worse.

Our little Lorna joined our family at 12:07 pm.  She was nice and pink and so beautiful!

Jeff brought the kids up to the hospital that night.  They were all very excited to meet their little sister!

Sandra

We are so happy she's here and part of our family!  We all just love her!

My how fast they grow!

Our little chicks aren't so little anymore!

I guess it doesn't matter how big they are, Mhari will still haul them around like they are little.  She is funny!

Grant's chick is sure big!  Oh, and how they love the chicks!

I'm not sure why I don't have a picture of Sandra...

While the chicks were outside playing they caught the attention of the neighbor... cat!

Talmage enjoyed taking some pictures of the chicks...

Jeff just made them a new home so I'll do an update with that sometime soon ;)
