Co-op Fun!

It was time for our last day of co-op for the semester... which means it was also Open House!  Because we would be getting together again that night we took our friend, Aidan Martin home with us.  They had fun playing at the cousins house for a few hours.  I picked up the kids and took them home for dinner and then got ready to head back to open house.  When I picked them up they wouldn't stop playing!  It turned into a big pile of teen boys... dog pile style!  I love it!

At open house the teen choir performed.  Talmage is in the back.  They did a good job!  They sang "Every Day" from High School Musical.

Lorna showing off her human body with her friend, Kaitlyn Myers!

I had a fun time chatting with my friend, Amanda!  It seems we never take time to take pictures of ourselves when we are together ;)

The teens bonding!  I love the great friends the kids have made because of co-op!  I think this has been so important, especially as they are in their teen years now!

Littles Decorating!

During the break, Mhari, Lorna, and Clark enjoyed sleeping in the toy room.  I love that they are such good friends.  I hope they stay little as long as possible!  They really do grow up too fast!

We went and got a Christmas tree last night!  Today it was time to decorate it.  I handled the lights and ribbon, but the kids took care of the rest of it.  I'm happy to have our tree up and enjoy our Christmas decorations!

Movers

The fridge at Jeff's office died.  We tried to arrange to have help to get a new one moved in, but it just never happened.  With Jeff feeling a bit better the kids helped out and we moved the newer fridge over.  Jeff was so good and taught them how to use the ratchet tie downs.  These kids keep growing and growing!  It is sure nice to have some extra man power to get stuff done, especially while Jeff can't do everything he's used to doing.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving was a quiet event this year.  Nathan and Tiffany's family ended up getting sickies so we pushed dinner back to 5 with Michelle and Jonathan.  Since we pushed back dinner, we were able to go catch a matinee showing of The Crimes of Grindelwald.  It was a great movie and a fun way to spend Thanksgiving morning!

Dinner was nice with Michelle and Jonathan.  It's also nice to have time at home and give Jeff the chance to rest.  This is his off week again, but he's really not doing so great.  Chemo is a beast and Jeff is ready to be done.  Poor guy :(.

Since getting the new piano we don't have room for our extra kitchen table any longer.  I posted it for sale and the primary president from 4th ward claimed it.  Time to say good-bye to our awesome table!  can't wait til our island has it's top... then I won't miss this table anymore!

Merry 6 Flags!

For Thanksgiving break Tiffany and I took the kids to play at 6 Flags.  They had everything ready for Holiday at the Park.  It was fun to see the Christmas tree and all of the decorations.  The teens had fun going to ride some rides while Tiffany hung out with me and the littles.

Me and the littles on the big pirate ship ride.  Clark and Lorna weren't smiling at the end of this ride!

Tea Cups!  The kids love this ride!

Tiffany and I waiting for the kids to get done :)

We also went on the Antique Cars.  Tiffany was a good sport and took Lorna while I went with Mhari and Clark.  Happy 6 Flags Day!

Skipping Rocks

The kids went to play at the lake and enjoyed trying to skip rocks.  The little kids dug up pieces of rock and just played.  I love where we live and how much nature is available right outside our door!

Grand Living Room

We ended up getting a baby grand piano from our friends, the Starkweathers.  They had 2 pianos and offered us the grand.  We had to arrange for movers.  We got it in and it fills up the corner of the living room nicely.  We were able to rearrange our new furniture and finish out our pretty living room.  We have finishing touches, but I feel like our living room is coming together nicely!

Daddy Daughter Dance

It was our 2nd year to put on the Stake Daddy Daughter Dance.  We had a great turn out of about 80 people.  We had several girls who came with grandfathers and Mhari got to attend with Talmage, since Jeff wasn't up to attending.  Talmage did a great job of hanging out with Mhari and being a good date.  Grant stayed home to take care of the little kids and Daddy.  Sandra, Ella, Bree, and Owen all came to help serve and clean up.  It was a great evening!  Looking forward to another great event next year!

Good little helpers!

Windy Conditions!

It was a beautifully windy day ... time to break out the kites!  Clark, Lorna, Mhari and Sandra had fun flying kites.  Sandra is the kite whisperer.  She is great at getting the kites up in the air and working to keep them in the sky.  When Lorna and the others got tired they had fun at the playground.  Yay for windy conditions!

Clark had a fun time getting his string tangled.  I did manage to detangle it all too!

Slow Hair

Jeff finished up the 1st week of round 3.  We had taken an off week after round 2 so hopefully Jeff won't feel as terrible this round.  I had ended up with a hair appointment on that Friday.  Everything ended up running late for the hair... Anne arriving late, not having the right color, taking too long at the store etc!  By the time Jeff was done, this is what my hair looked like :(.  I felt bad that this delayed me picking up Jeff.  That was the quickest haircut I've ever had!  My hair was grateful for some new color, even if it ruined the schedule!

Fun little side note...
Little Bug was exhausted.   I love when she curls up for a nap :)
