6 Flags Halloween!

I took the kids to 6 Flags for Halloween.  This was most of their first time attending for Fright Fest.  There was lots of scary people and Clark and Lorna weren't very happy.  We met up with the cousins and friends to hang out for the holiday.  I think the kids had a great time, even if there were freaky people.  Tiffany is also working Fright Fest so we found her!  Not sure we will go during Fright Fest anytime soon, but there was hardly anyone there so that was awesome!

Tired

Sandra takes good care to manage our fire.  She gets it set up and then she makes sure it stays going.  Sandra really loves the fire :).

One day she was enjoying watching the fire upside down.  She was so tired she fell asleep on our wood floor.  I would think that wouldn't be comfortable, but I guess it worked for her ;).  Silly teenage girl!

Fat Boys

Grant shoved one of his stuffed animals up his sweatshirt and was showing off how "fat" he was.  That meant Clark had to do it too.  The boys were busy bumping their tummies and wrestling each other.  It was some funny entertainment that's for sure!

Halloween Fun

The ward hosted a fall festival.  We had a chili cook off and costume parade.  There were also lots of carnival games for the kids to play.  The kids had a great time.  The little ones were dressed up.  Lorna was a gold dragon, Clark was a gingerbread man (totally his idea of costume), and Mhari was a Camp Half-blood camper.  Sandra was Regina Phelangi (Phoebe from friends), but I never got a picture of her.

Dream Park

We had a park day for Co-op at the new Dream Park in Fort Worth.  It's disability friendly, so that was cool.  It wasn't a great park for big kids so that would be my biggest complaint.  I'm sure most people don't expect to have teenagers running around at the park, but I think it's great to have them out and playing!  They did have this huge rope tower that the kids enjoyed climbing.  It was fun to take pictures of them on it.

Once friends showed up I didn't really get many other photos... accept a good group shot.  It was a fun day and the big kids made a huge game of tag.  It is awesome to see them play and share the park with the little ones.

Henderson

After the TBA conference we headed over to Henderson, but like really Stewart, TX, to see a property we have been looking at to purchase.  We wanted to take more time and see it up close.  The first time we never even made it into the house.  This time we took a house tour and got to see the pasture and pens.  It was a good trip to get a feel of the whole property.  Here are a few pictures, but I never really got a front shot of the house.  There is also a second house on the property with potential to fix up.  We will see what the future holds.

Horse barn... but we would turn it into a chicken coop.

We forgot to take a picture of us on the trip so we took a selfie on the way home :).

Texas Bison Association

This was our second time attending a TBA conference.  We ended up in Jacksonville, TX and then headed over to a local Bison owner's ranch.  He had a really nice set up with beautiful animals!  We got a nice tour of the handling facilities.  Lunch was Bison burgers, which were delicious!  It was a great little trip!  It feels like we are learning some good info as we try to move forward with our ranching plans.

They were pretty tame and would let you pet them if they came up to the fence.  I got to pet one ;)
