Visit from Grandma

Grandma Whitmer came to visit.  She wasn't able to make it out to Lorna's baptism because of covid restrictions, so she came out in June instead.  We had a nice few days together.  Grandma even got to visit the ranch with us!  While we were together I took the chance to take photos together.  It's crazy how quickly everyone is growing up!

While Grandma Whitmer was in town Talmage and Sandra showed off their Viennese Waltz.  It was fun to see how much they have learned!

Happy 41!

For Jeff's birthday we went out to dinner with Talmage to Chamas Do Brasil, the restaurant Talmage works at.  It is a pretty fancy Brazilian steakhouse and it was nice to go with an employee discount ;).  It was a delicious dinner and even yummy dessert!  This year has not been normal because of COVID, but it was nice to go out and celebrate!

New Llama in Town

The kids had a hang out night at the Bailey's house.  When they came home Talmage had a new llama.  Grant had to get his out to play also.  It was fun to see the boys playing with the llamas!

Kid Photo Wall

I've been wanting to do a kid photo wall for a while.  Once I picked the wall there was some work to be done.  This wall had a vent we closed up and needed to be textured.  Then the whole wall had to be painted.  I have been collecting cute wall things, like birds, and flowers for several months.  I finally got the wall all prepped so I could paint it.  I had taken quite some time picking photos.  I'm sure there are still more I could add, but I like the ones I chose.  I've loved the sunset picture for a long time so I was so happy to get it turned into a canvas!  I think it's a great centerpiece!  I love standing and looking at my babies!

Pool Time

I wish that pool equipment lasted... longer.  Our pool started leaking at the pump and I wasn't sure why.  Sandra investigated and found out that the pool filter had cracked.  Looks like it's time to call the pool guy to come help... you know, replace the old and bring in a brand new one!

10 year old Clark

Clark has transitioned to double digits.  We celebrated at home with family and cousins!  It was fun to watch Clark open his presents!  We love you Dog and are so happy to see you learning and growing so much!

Chiggers BITE

Well, the ranch definitely has some annoying parts.  Like, poison ivy... and Chiggers!  Unfortunately June was not a good month for Jeff and I.  We both got eaten by the chiggers.  When we go into the grown over areas it's hard to stay away from them (seeing as they are microscopic and all).  I don't enjoy chiggers, but hopefully we have learned our lessons and will stay out of them... and kill off their homes too!  Oh the fun of the great outdoors!
