Blow Out

Jeff got a "new" truck for the ranch, 1999 F350 dually 6 speed manual 7.3L 2wd.  It has just been sitting needing some attention.  It was finally time to get tires for it.  Unfortunately, on the way to the tire store the front tire blew out.  Jeff was stranded :(.  He called roadside assistance and got the truck towed to the dealership, and I came and picked him up.  It was kind of a crazy night, but thankfully everything worked out!

Glasses

To make sure Grant is all set for his upcoming mission we had to update his eye prescription and get new glasses.  Grant's had contacts for years, so it was interesting to have him pick out a new pair of glasses.  This was the sample he liked from the eye store so we could go online and find something similar ;).  Hopefully he doesn't really need them, but he has them in case of an emergency!

Temple Time

In preparation for Grant's mission, he went through the Dallas Temple.  It was nice that all of the grandparents were able to attend.  It was a wonderful experience.

Trailer Trouble

We borrowed our friend, Steve's, trailer to haul the excavator.  When we went to reload the excavator, it bent the metal.  After much heat and sledgehammering we finally got the door shut again.  That metal was super strong and didn't bend easily!

Friend Day!

Moving away from family and friends has been hard, but the trips back to town to hang out make it not so bad!  The Hulls met us in Arlington with the cousins.  The kids played volleyball, games, and just had fun together.  My favorite part is getting to hang out with my friends too!

Game Time

With the holiday break it's always fun to spend time together.  Playing games is super fun!  I love watching the kids enjoy each other!!
One fun thing present was a highland cow puzzle.  It was so difficult to put together!  The whole boarder is white... and was ridiculous to put together.  Not only was the white hard, but the orange, brown fur was super difficult too!  We were so happy when it got this much done that we called the puzzle done!

Power!

It has been a long time coming, but we have our new meters on the ranch!  Power can actually start being used!  Looking forward to some great things getting power in our future!

Nap time

Happy New Year!  With that brings a new church time.  The best part though is naps!  They are all too cute!
