Nap Time

Clark may be as tall as adults, but he still needs a good nap now and then.  Kids are so great.  I love watching them nap - so peaceful!  He has been working hard this year!  Seminary gets him up early and now working so much more on the house is really wearing him out!  We love you Dog!

Patio!

The patio progress has been great!  We are knocking it out, one evening at a time.  So thankful for the work we are getting done!  The back is all on... now just finishing up the front.

Beautiful

It was a beautiful day at the ranch.  The bison are out on the nice green pastures!  It always feels good to see pastures with grass for your bison!  It is also a beautiful sight to see the roofing going up on the patio... even though it's not the house yet.  We learned our lesson doing the garage roof and are predrilling the holes for the other roof panels.  It is tedious, but the panels go on much faster! Mhari, Clark, and Lorna have been a huge help!  Here's to lots of days spent on the roof.

They're Off

Talmage and Grant are off to college!  They drove to Uncle Paul and Aunt Karen's and from there up to BYU-I to start the fall semester!  We are excited for their school journey!  College should be a great experience and we can't wait to hear about all of their friends, dates, and dancing fun!  Talmage is studying to become an Actuary and Grant is going to be a Physical Therapist.  Good luck boys!  We love you!

Metal Time

Time for the house roof!  It's so exciting to be at this point of the house build!  It's been a while to get to this point, but the house is really starting to come together!

Pool Fun!

Jennifer Martin was kind enough to host a homeschool swim day at her home.  The kids had a blast playing with friends!

Life and Death

Nadine had her calf!  Her calf was so tiny and adorable!  We don't love that the calves have been so late this year, but we are happy to have them.
One of Steve's yearling bulls died.  We aren't sure why.  I got to go help Katie take care of it.  It was pretty stressful lifting it with the tractor and dropping it off on the edge of the property.  The chain kept slipping and the bison wouldn't stay up enough.  We got it taken care of thankfully.

Sunday Dog Pile

When Grant naps, everyone must nap :).  Maybe not nap so much as dog pile!  The kids are a lot bigger now and dog piles stack up quite tall!  So funny!  Love my family!
