Pool Party Fun

Our good friends from co-op invited us over for a pool party!  They invited lots of our other friends too... it was a blast to see everyone and hang out.  The moms even had pool time after the kids went inside to play games.  Everyone had a great time!  It was so good to spend time with friends!  I know our kids miss their friends!!

 

Welcome Gate

Our poor front gate has been pretty sad since we bought the ranch.  The time has come to fix it up!  That means a lot of priming and painting.  I've already spent lots of time scraping paint off of gate.  Of course, it took way more spray paint than I planned on, so the project took a bit longer.  That's OK because it turned out really good!  The kids were great helpers too!  It sure is nice to pull up to a nicely painted gate!

 

Graduate 2023

Sandra is done with High School!  She has been dual enrolled with BYUI this last school year.  She is doing amazing!  She will be attending in person this fall!  Time is flying by!  We had to do a quick photo shoot to show that she is official!  Way to go Sandra!  We love you and are excited to see what you do in your future!

 

Egypt

History day - Ancient Egypt!  The kids enjoyed turning each other into mummies.  Our friends brought a really cool mummy mask that really finished off the look!  We even got to eat fresh honeycomb from the Smith's bees.  It was a fun day with friends!

 

Little Helper

While running barbed wire today a butterfly came to hang out with us.  It really liked Mhari.  Such a cute little helper!

 

Leak!

The water pump was acting strange.  We were working around the property and found the problem!  There is a leak!  Oh man!  Jeff came out on Saturday and fixed it!  We shut off the lower trough turned on the trough in the gathering pen.  Hopefully we won't have any other water issues!  

Oh, and aren't the calves adorable!  

 

Tie Dye Fun

This summer the Smiths and Huphries are putting on a history class.  This week we learned about India and tie-dying.  My kids love to tie-dye!  We will unwrap the shirts in a day or two to see the fun designs they made.
