Shark Tooth

Little Lorna has a tiny mouth.  Her bottom tooth was getting wiggly, but the big tooth didn't line up right and came in behind the baby teeth instead!  Shark Bite!  Ugh.  That means we had to visit the dentist and figure out the next step.

After seeing our dentist, we headed over to the specialist.  They got a really good x-ray to show how little room she had and how many teeth were being affected.  From this we decided (which I was pretty much planning on suggesting, but it was nice to have the x-ray to show it) that we needed to take out her front 4 baby teeth to make room for her adult teeth.  2 of the baby teeth roots weren't even dissolved at all!  It was a pretty dramatic extraction for her.  She did great, but still not fun :(

Bye-bye baby teeth!

After a few days it was looking much better!

And Lorna was feeling better too!
