It's official! The house is on the market! All of these crazy house projects have not been just for us. We are selling the house so we can move out to East Texas. Our goal is to move onto the ranch after we fix up a building (after renting a house for a bit). It has been some hard work to get all of the things finished and the house in order, but it felt so good to get it done! I think the house looks great! It's kind of crazy to see the house for sale.
We have it listed at $799,999. It seems a bit high, but the housing market is crazy right now. We know we have a large house (over 5,000 sq ft) and they typically don't sell as quick or for as much per sq ft. I guess that means we get to be patient. So really, we are in a waiting game to see if our house will sell and how long it will take. It doesn't quite feel real, and I'm really not looking forward to keeping it clean for showings!
