The Delicious Bread of Life

Sandra did a value project in September and October where she made homemade bread for sacrament meeting.  Everyone loved her bread  :).  It was fun to see how people really appreciated some yummy bread.  This also gave another girl the opportunity to take over making the bread for a month so she could do it as a value project too.
My friend Monica works with the High School Choir group.  She hired Sandra to make 10 loaves of bread to sell at the upcoming renaissance night.  Sandra worked hard and got them all ready (with a little packaging help from me ;)).  It was fun to see her accomplish the goal and earn some money at the same time!

 So much bread!

Ready to drop it off!

One of my favorite parts of the week was when Sandra had to make cookies for mutual (while the bread making was in full swing).  Unfortunately the cookies didn't turn out well at all!  It was a little lesson in humility for the girl who is doing so great at making yummy bread ;).  We are all human and we can all make mistakes.  It turns out she forgot to put enough flour in.  We had the delicious bread of life and life lessons all in the same day!
