Christmas Tree Hunting

Since we were out of town over Thanksgiving, we were kind of late getting our tree this year.  We finally went out and hunted down our tree, at Home Depot :).  The kids all wanted to help.  We found one that would work in our living room and Talmage helped carry the tree up to get cut.  After talking with the worker, Talmage decided he would enjoy working in the tree lot.  He may have time now that fall semester is finishing up.  He did start a new job at Chamas Brazilian Steakhouse and works most Fridays and Saturdays.  We will see what he does about working the tree lot :).

We got the tree home and set up.  Friday night was tree decorating night.  The kids did most of the work.  I helped with the lights and ribbon.  The kids also set up our artificial tree upstairs in the toy room.  It is fun to have extra decorations around the house this year!

Our little bug wanted to be helpful and carry the tree....

so she did!
