Jeff was out of town to a conference and by Friday it was time to get out and have some fun. We met up with the cousins and enjoyed a beautiful afternoon at the zoo.

They have some gigantic bugs on display. The kids liked discovering the new bugs, but they were really huge and creepy :).

Red breasted geese. They were pretty.
On our way out the flamingos were squawking and they all had their heads up with their necks extended. It was pretty cool to see how long their necks really are :)
