Handsome Number 1

It was time to update the kids photos.  It seems crazy how fast a year can go!  They are all growing up so much.  I'm going to give every child their own post starting from the first.

Talmage is a great kid.  He is in his pre-teen years so that is exciting and challenging.  His emotions have been fun to adjust to, but overall he's getting more mature and understanding adults and humor better ;).

I decided to interview the kids to see what they are like at this age.  Here is Talmage's interview:

How old are you?  Just about 11 years 10 months old

What makes you happy?  Books

What is your favorite animal?  raccoon

What is your favorite thing to eat?  Lasagna

What is your favorite thing to do?  Read

What is your favorite TV show?  Running Wild

What are you really good at?  Camping

What is your favorite movie?  Batman

What is your favorite color?  White

What is your favorite song?  I like to look for Rainbows

Who are your friends?  Tanner, Jeremiah, Timothy

What do you like to do with Mommy?  Cooking

What do you like to do with Daddy?  Go camping

Where is your favorite place to go? Six Flags

What is your favorite book?  A lot of books.  Like the Ranger’s Apprentice

What do you want to be when you grow up?  Either a paleontologist, a marine biologist, a vet, naturalist, I also plan on photographing animals and collecting rocks and minerals.

What is your favorite scripture story?  I don’t really have a favorite story.

If you could change your name what would you change it to:  I wouldn’t change it

What is something mommy says: do your work

If I gave you $100 what would you do with it?  Pay tithing and save the rest for college and mission and stuff like that

What are you afraid of?  Nothing really serious that I know of right now.

He's such a great kid!  Here are some of his pictures ;).

The one for the wall ;)

They are such good friends.  Sandra fits in with the older boys really well these days.  They will be all grown  up too soon!

I had to include this picture from camping.  It is just so Talmage.  He loves nature and animals and camping.  It was cool to see him looking into the water for so long.

It's hard to believe that Talmage is going into 6th grade!  In 6 more years he will be off on a mission!  He has been a great first kid!  I feel bad that he has had to deal with all the mistakes that parents make with the first kid, but he's so smart and focused and responsible.  I can't imagine a better oldest child.  We love him so much and are so proud of who he is becoming!
